Kids Swimming for Kids 2010
Make a Splash! Make a Pledge! Make a Difference!
Thank you to the coaches and swimmers at Shorewood, West Side, Hill Farm, Seminole, and Maple Bluff pools for committing to host a KSK event in 2010. Please support and sponsor these great swimmers as they raise money to help less fortunate kids experience the joy of summer swimming and develop their swimming and water safety skills.
Not all kids have the chance to learn to swim or to enjoy a fun summer of swimming at their pool. Through Kids Swimming for Kids, the Shelley Glover Sports Education Foundation is able to provide financial support for swim lessons, pool memberships, and pool passes at the Goodman Pool. By participating in KSK, or supporting a swimmer, you’ll help kids have a fun, healthy summer as they develop a sense of self-confidence and fitness, while learning important swimming and safety skills! Your contribution makes a big difference; Just … $45 = one youth membership; $30 buys ten daily passes; $165 = one family membership, $180 = swim team membership, and $42 provides enough money for one session of swim lessons!
To date, the Shelley Glover Pool Fund (originally established in 2004) and KSK (started in 2006) has raised over $150,000 to support swimming in Madison.
