The Shelley Glover Sports Education Foundation (SGSEF) is a non-profit organization founded to honor Shelley Glover, a gifted athlete and compassionate leader.  SGSEF is dedicated to promoting athletic activities and competition for youth of all ages and abilities with a focus on Shelley's favorite sports, skiing, soccer and swimming.  SGSEF will provide support for athletic opportunities and competition through the development of innovative programs and community partnerships that expand access to sports.

The Shelley Glover Sports Education Foundation was established by family and friends in 2005 following Shelley's death in a United States Ski Team training accident.

It is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization dedicated to:

• Increase access to athletic opportunities and competition
• Advocate for improved safety and injury prevention
• Improve the quality of life for children through participation in sports
• Assist children in strengthening their physical and emotional health.
